i bowled in a tournament (my first) over the weekend, with some fellow teammates, and a couple of friends. we bowled team, doubles, and singles over the course of two days. we'll find out how we did after the next weekend is over, but no matter. it was exhausting, but a ton of fun, and i definitely plan on doing it again.

TS: (starts ringing up order, stops) "Um, we're out of egg today."

Me: "Oh, ok. um, hmmmm...alright, just give me the sausage biscuit instead."

TS: "Ok. Hold on, let me check to see if we have sausage." (runs in back for a minute, hollers. comes back...)

TS: "We're out of hash browns."

Me: (shakes head) "Never mind. Thanks."

i'm tired, but i feel different. better. i've got a busy week ahead, what with training, and an upcoming bowling tournament over the weekend. however, i'm not stressed about any of it, which is a refreshing change. i really need to get out of town more often. :)

getting ready for dinner here (japanese food, yum), then i'll be heading home after that. it's going to be straight to bed. well, maybe a little Flickring first, then sleep. see y'all tomorrow.

Quickly sneaking in here to say that the drive, the date, and the tea party all went well. i actually got some sleep, too, after only being able to sleep about 3 hours a night this week. gotta love stress-induced insomnia.

anyhoo, hope everyone's having a good weekend. i'm off to go have another cup of some delicious tazo lemon yerba mate tea. mmmmm....

Alright, my two trusty faithful readers, be prepared to be amazed, or what will most likely be the case, slightly amused. I am pledging to post at this blog at least once a day, every day, for the month of November. This from someone who can barely keep up with her comments in Flickr, lets e-mail pile up, and has ignored this blog like nobody's business, will be posting on a regular basis. Inspired by the lurvely emdot (aka marya), and all part of NaBloPoMo, National Blog Posting Month.

If nothing else, I just want to see if I can do this. It may not be the most fascinating content, but it'll be me, and that's got to be good enough.

i recently purchased a new camera, a Sony Cybershot DSC-W70, to be exact. i don't know .3 mm from .7mm when it comes to aperture, but i can't wait to figure it out. i want to have that sharpness and detail that i admire in so many of my contacts' photos.

hey there. i'm saying "hey" even though i'm pretty sure that nobody is around to read it. that's ok, and totally understandable. i've been a complete and total slacker when it comes to this blog, my e-mail, my friends. i'm amazed that people still bother with me, to be honest.

the thing is, too, is that there is so much that i want to say, to share, and yet somehow, and for reasons yet unknown to me, it stays in my head. i stay silent, get lost in the quiet and the loneliness. it's like i am watching my mental self sit in the corner, mumbling, wondering where she is. it needs to change, before i end up completely alone.

so if you are one of the many lost in my non-responsive, taking it for granted fray, i am sorry, really. please stick around a little while longer. i promise to make it worth the occasional click.
